Plot |
After losing his long-time girlfriend a few months ago our man has just lost his car and job. He's seriously in debt and is at wits end when his cell phone rings offering him $1 million dollars if he can complete 13 simple tasks for a game show. Task number 1 was to kill an annoying fly with a newspaper. This should be easy, right?

Pros |
I like the way the suspense builds in this film and how they are able to make his tasks personal by knowing something about his past. Tying everything into the Internet and what society has become with it's obsession with things like reality shows was a very nice touch. |
Cons |
There's lots of violence and at least a scene or two that might turn your stomach (for me it was one of his earliest tasks, the one in the restaurant). If you're watching it with the English dubbing be forewarned that English apparently doesn't dub over Thai very well. |

Recommendation |
This isn't all that much different than the Saw franchise except everything done here was by a man in desperate need of money and a sick group of people willing to provide it as opposed to people doing something incredible to live; this man's life was never in danger. Once again the people at Dimension Extreme continue to provide us with good but obscure movies. |
