Plot

There is an old saying that goes something like "The enemy of your enemy is your friend". The two opposing mutant groups are forced to join forces to ensure that their kind is not destroyed. This movie picks up where the other left off with Wolverine going out to find out about his past.

Pros

They assume that everyone has already seen the first "X-Men" movie so they do not waste any time explaining things to the viewers that they wouldn't already know. Lot's of action, very little slow-time and a disc full of extras.

Cons

Don't look for anything deep or intellectual; just enjoy your popcorn.

Recommendation

If you liked the first one, you'll love this sequel. If you haven't seen the first one, you'll be lost unless you happen to be familiar with the comic book.
