Plot |
Two lovely sheilas and a bloke (it's an Australian film after all) head out to the desolate Outback in Australia to visit a crater. They park their car and hike up to the crater to spend the day. When they return, their car won't start. A little later in the evening, a nice guy shows up and volunteers to tow their car back to his place to fix. Where it goes from here is fairly obvious.

Pros |
This film looks great for a low-budget film and the four main actors do an excellent job; major kudos to John Jaratt and his portrayal of the killer. The daytime shots of Australia are really gorgeous (it was shot with a high-def camera) and the special effects look convincing. |
Cons |
The movie starts off rather slowly. The director spends a quite a bit of time introducing the three characters. Not a bad thing but if you're in a hurry for the action to kick in, you'll have a bit of a wait. |
Extras |
- Commentary with Director Greg McLean, Executive Producer Matt Hearn, and Actors Cassandra Magrath and Kestie Morassi
- "The Making of Wolf Creek" Documentary
- Deleted Scenes

Recommendation |
Like all horror/hack-and-slash films, you either like them or you don't. If you enjoy them then check this one out. If not, just leave it on the shelf and walk away. |
