Plot |
Two couples go into New Guinea to find an individual, Michael Rockefeller, the heir to a very large fortune. Oh, by the way, the place he disappeared is inhabited by cannibals.
|
Pros |
The two ladies are lovely, the scenery is stunning and there is especially one good shot involving a pole and one of the ladies. |
Cons |
Been there, done that. This is "The Blair Witch Project" eight years later and obviously not very original. Much of the acting and whining is annoying. The story is predictable and, even for it's short length, never seems to end. These are four people you will want to see come to a violent end and even that's not done well. |

Recommendation |
I hate to belittle a movie that people obviously put so much into but in some cases it can't be help. If this had been filmed in 1998, the year before "The Blair Witch Project", then it would get credit for originality which would have helped cushion it from criticism. Unfortunately it wasn't and this film is only for those that are curious enough to spend the time to watch it. |
