About the only thing this movie has in common with other vampire movie is the basic plot; Dracula (Roxburgh) has been found and Van Helsing (Jackman) is sent out to destroy him. At least this time Van Helsing has the assistance from the lovely Anna (Beckingsale) who's family has been fighting Dracula for years.

Simply put, this movie is fun. You have vampires, werewolves, Frankenstein (Hensley), Igor (O'Connor), Jeckyl (Fisher) & Hyde (Coltrane) and the faithful sidekick and jack of all trades Carl (Wenham) who has no problem taking advantage of his low ranking in the church. This movie is loaded with great special effects, lots of action and humor throughout.

This is not a serious horror movie if that's what you're looking for.
