Plot

The Tokyo Police have been privatized and are having to deal with a group of criminals known as the "engineers". Their star officer is Ruka, a very attractive lady who not only lost her policeman father at an early age but can also kick some serious butt with her sword. It's obvious that the creaters of this film were familiar with "Starship Troopers" as you will quickly notice.

Pros

If you're looking for an over-the-top blood fest then look no further. There is a basic plot that evolves throughout the movie but there is also a lot of silliness involved. There's even a scene with a women who is quartered with the use of two cars instead of horses.

Cons

Yes, there are times this movie even got too silly for me; the final fight scene would be a prime example. They held nothing back so if you have a weak stomach, you'll want to stay away.

Recommendation

The Japanese not only know how to have a lot of fun but are willing to do even silly things to accomplish it. This film is just as much about humor as it is about gallons and gallons of fake blood. If you are fans of this genre, you'll like this film.
