Plot

Warning: If you do not like snakes, do not read any further and stay as far away from this movie as you can. You have been warned!

A young man (Phillips) witnesses a crime lord (Chen) kill a district attorney. The FBI (Jackson) saves him and then flies him back to LA to be a witness. As you can tell by the title, the bad guys have a unique way of eliminating their witness while he's on flight to LA. The passengers and crew encompass just about every popular stereotype that could be squeezed into a 100 minute movie.

Pros

Lots of very aggressive CGI snakes and some fairly creative ways one can be bitten (more than one made me cringe). Many of the snakes are really cool looking; at least for a snake. Samuel L. Jackson kicks ass as usual, there are plenty of bad one-liners/jokes and a little nudity (a couple attempting to join the mile-high club).

Cons

The plot holes in this movie are big enough to drive a fleet of trucks through and are so obvious I won't even bother listing them. Oh, and by the way, there are a lot of very nasty and aggressive snakes just in case you chose to ignore my earlier warning.

Recommendation

I'm not fond of flying and am not a huge fan of snakes, but snakes in movies are normally no big deal to me. I'll have to admit that some of the scenes even freaked me out. If you're looking for a brain-dead action flick with lots of snakes there is nothing else out there that can touch this. If you are even hesitating to watch this, I would advise you not too.

If you make it through the film, take the time to check out the documentaries on this disk.
