Flying robots attack New York city in 1939 and two people that used to be an "item"e;, a pilot (Law) and reporter (Paltrow), team up to unravel the mystery.

This entire movie was filmed in a studio using blue screen technology and the picture is sharp. The story is entertaining and the banter between the two leads, Law and Paltrow, is entertaining to say-the-least. This film and story has a great old-style look and feel to it while still using modern technology.

If you're an Angelina Jolie fan don't let her name on the cover fool you into thinking she plays a major role in this film; she's only on the screen for about 15 minutes.

This is a fun movie that should be in every Sci-Fi fan's collection. I do not understand why it's rated so poorly at IMDb, I find it very enjoyable. It is interesting that the actor playing the great American hero is a Brit and the actor in charge of the British forces is an American.
