Plot

This movie picks up where the original left off. The virus has now moved above ground and is attacking the inhabitants. The city has been sealed off and a group of survivors has a limited amount of time to rescue a girl that is their ticket out.

Pros

This movie followed the rules of the chewing gum commercial; double your pleasure, double your fun. Instead of having one very lovely and scantily clad lady kicking ass, this movie has two; and that's not counting the TV reporter that really did look good enough to eat (I couldn't help myself). I wonder how many viewers knew that the GTA reference in the film stood for the Grand Theft Auto video game?

Cons

This is gun porn, plain and simple. There is very little plot and no real suspense, just tons of gore and violence.

Recommendation

I enjoyed this movie and by now, you should know whether or not you would. I would seriously suggest watching the original Resident Evil first to help eliminate confusion. I am looking forward to the third movie in this series, "Resident Evil: Extinction".
