Plot

The Predator is back and has chosen the city of Los Angeles as it's new hunting ground. All I can say is more power to him!

Pros

The Predator wreaking habit and killing everyone with a gun in Los Angeles! Simply put, this is gun porn with explosions and there's plenty of extras on disc two to make any fan of the film happy (is it just me or do you also think Busey suffered series brain damage after his motorcycle wreck prior to this film?). And lets not forget the impact this film had on the movie and comic book industry with the simple addition of an Alien skull hanging on the Predator's trophy wall in it's spaceship.

Cons

Lets face it, the plots a little thin and anyone just walking into the room could think they're watching a Lethal Weapon movie they had yet to see with Paxton replacing Gibson as Glover's sidekick. Are there plot holes? Of course. Does anyone really believe Glover would have survived? No. Is any of this so important that it ruins the movie? No.

Recommendation

This movie wasn't as well received as the original though it has a lot more action. Yes, the first movie was more suspenseful but the whole thing centered around Arnold's character; this centers around and gives the audience a better look at the creature itself. And, for some reason, having a creature from outer space hunting people (mostly criminals) that use guns in Los Angeles does not sound all that unappealing; this is way more efficient than Robocop and eliminates all the fuss about gun control laws. What better deterrent for using a gun than being hunted by an alien creature do you need? :-)
