A team of commandos are tasked to go into the enemy jungles of Central America to rescue people from a downed helicopter. Since the CIA is involved in organizing this mission it's fairly obvious there's more to it than meets the eye. There's actually more to come than even the CIA is aware of.

This is one of those movies for men who like movies. You have a small heavily armed group of commandos raiding a village (lots of deaths and explosions) that then find themselves hunted by an unknown force. Along the way they pick up a lady to serve as eye candy. You will want to take a look at the extras on disc 2; apparently the difference between the two future governors in this film was Arnold is loved by all and Jesse is a blowhard.

This is a simple hunter vs hunted movie with lots of guns; nothing more, nothing less. It's nice to know that sarcastic/evil laughter is the norm throughout the universe.

Do you like lots of guns and explosions? If so, give this a go. You won't see much of the Predator until the end but, like in Jaws, it helps build up the suspense. This is Arnold at his best stogy smoking muscle bulging gun shooting self.
