Plot |
Like the original, a brother and sister go to visit the grave of their parent; this time it's their mother. The plot follows the original with minor modifications.

Pros |
If you're a fan of Babylon Five, you'll enjoy the fact that the lovely actress that played Lyta Alexander (Patricia Tallman) is starring in this film. This is very close to the original with the exception that it is filmed in color; blood is now red. And, instead of being damsels in distress, the women in this film take a much more active role. Even though I suspect I have no acting skills whatsoever, I believe I could play a very convincing zombie! |
Cons |
Over-the-top and some very bad acting. It doesn't follow the original script verbatim which is only bad if that's what you were expecting; personally I believe this is a good thing. The ending is something everyone should think about. |

Recommendation |
If this film wasn't based on a classic, I believe it would have been given more credit. This is by no means a bad film, it just doesn't hold up against the original. The ladies will love the fact that the main female kicks ass in this version as opposed to lying in a scared/helpless comatose state like the original. |
