A roving group of vampires are traveling through Texas and acquire a new member that will either learn to fit in or will be destroyed.

This is not the typical vampire movie; no mansion with hidden coffins or sneaking around in the dark hunting for female victims. A group of vampires travels by night and sleeps by day. They consist of an interesting mix of characters including a hyper Bill Paxton and father-like Lance Henriksen. The extras are definitely worth checking out.

It has the look and feel of a straight-to-video film and the ending was too much of a crowd pleaser.

If you like vampire movies you'll certainly want to add this to your collection. The moral of the story is if your pet(s) don't want anything to do with your new date/girlfriend, neither should you.
