The Gates are basking in the fame they received from their previous movie until publicly confronted by a man (Harris) that claims it was one of their relatives that was the ring leader for the Lincoln assassination. Of course, to prove his innocence, they have to solve riddles to find the long lost city of gold.

If you thought the previous film was too cerebral and didn't have enough action then you're going to love this one. You've got car chases, gun fights and some very "Indiana Jones" like situations. The humor and character interaction is still intact from the original and they added the very talented Helen Mirren to the cast.

I have no problem with couples falling in and out of love but just how much of this has to be a part of one film? So, who will still be together at the beginning of film 3 (yes, everything is set up for another sequel)?

I liked this movie better than most which just makes sense, I liked the first one better than most; some people out there simply hate this film. The formula is simple yet you could tell that the writers took their time to think this through. Personally, I can't wait for the sequel to see what's on page 47. :-)
