Plot

A treasure hunter (Cage) is hunting for a treasure whose story has been passed down through his family for centuries. He has a disagreement with his boss (Bean) which leads them on duel paths to the same goal but for different reasons; not to mention his boss wants it at any cost. Saying more would ruin the story.

Pros

What a ride! It isn't a fast-paced ride from start-to-finish but it is certainly a clever one. The writers for this movie took their time to make sure the chase and clues remained plausible and added a good mix of humor.

Cons

It's done by Disney so it's only rated PG. There are times it feels a little watered down to satisfy the rating though they still give you some gunplay, explosions and a car chase.

Recommendation

Most people seemed to find this film to be as enjoyable as I did; it will always be one of my favorites to put in the DVD player when I can't make up my mind what to watch. The people that didn't are the ones that have to dissect a film every step of the way hunting for faults thinking that they are somehow impressing you with their knowledge; you know, the type of people you refuse to watch films with because they're nothing more than annoying jerks.
