This plot doesn't get much simpler; the bad guys have a deadly disease and the good guys, led by Cruise of course, are out to get it back.

If you thought there wasn't enough action in the first movie, this one will make up for it; car chases, gun play, motorcycles, acrobatics, explosions, etc. And, like the first movie, they give the guys another beauty named Thandie Newton. Throw in a brief cameo by Anthony Hopkins and you have a film that's a little better than the original.

Simple storyline with the inevitable outcome; the good guy not only wins but also gets the girl. And the final battle on the motorcycles is more than just a little over-the-top.
