Plot |
A couple of tabloid reporters (Travolta, Hurt) are out to investigate the story of an actual angel living on Earth. Tagging along with them is a so-called "angel expert" (MacDowell) that is really along for the ride for an altogether different reason.

Pros |
A nice cast, including the lovely MacDowell, and just enough humor to keep things interesting. This is a film that is mostly about dialogue, not action, so you will want to pay attention. |
Cons |
At the time of this writing you can not get this movie on DVD in anything other than Full Screen format. What's up with this? And if you're looking for a lot of fast-paced action, look elsewhere. |

Recommendation |
This is feel-good movie with romantic undertones that guys will actually like. There's not a lot of action but it will certainly bring more than one smile to your face. So guys, when she's looking at the shelf staring at some romantic boo-hoo movie to watch for the evening, this would make a fine alternative. |
