Plot |
Bond is pissed off and is out for revenge when one of his friends is badly mutilated and his wife raped and murdered by the leader of a major drug cartel. But before he can take revenge he has to leave Her Majesty's Secret Service and go rogue.

Pros |
It's nice to finally see Bond portrayed as a real-life human being with emotions as opposed to the suave agent out to save the world while sleeping with as many women as possible (ok, that hasn't changed). I liked the unique way they used the decompression chamber and if you're a Benicio Del Toro fan, this is his first major movie role. |
Cons |
Some of the "stunts" at the end of the movie with the tankers were a bit much. |

Recommendation |
This film has the normal aspects of a Bond movie including lots of action and beautiful women but it also includes a personal side of James Bond that hasn't been shown before. As you can already tell, this is one of my favorite Bond films and even though a lot of people don't care for it much, I have to enthusiastically recommend it. |
