Plot |
It's 927 A.D. in Korea and the Killer-Blade Army has systematically killed each prince in the country but one in an effort to topple it. The one last prince is in exile and it's the job of a lovely and talented warrior to bring him back safely so he can become king.

Pros |
The story is simple yet they continue to throw little things in along the way that heightens the plot; yes, some of them you can figure out on your own. The fight and wire scenes, including the underwater one, are wonderfully pulled off and the picture is simply gorgeous (as are the two female leads). On top of that the costumes are stunning and the acting is top-notch. |
Cons |
It's obvious that the people that put this film together were fans of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. They share a number of items including the wire scenes, story plots and one weapon in particular. |

Recommendation |
Even if you're not a big fan of martial arts films and hate reading subtitles you shouldn't pass on this film. I have no idea what the reviewers at IMDb were watching but don't let the average score on the site (6.5) keep you from enjoying this film. Despite the similarities with CTHD, this movie stands well on its on. |
