Plot

Two teenage girls head to the big city for a rock concert. Unfortunately for them, they run into a group of escaped prisoners and a couple of their friends. They are abducted and all kinds of nasty things happen to them.

Pros

This is one of, if not the, original slasher films. The special effects (gore) are actually quite good for a 1972 film.

Cons

A very thin plot performed by amateur actors.

The main claim to fame for this film is that it's the first film directed by horror legend Wes Craven. If you're one of his fans you'll want take the time to check it out. If you're not, you might want to look elsewhere.
