Humans have walled themselves into a city to protect themselves from a world full of zombies. Even though they are all trying to survive the class system is still alive and well. Foragers have to leave the city to gather supplies while the rich get to stay safe at home; this is where the movie starts.

Zombies continue to evolve; now they can organize, communicate and even think on a small scale. Unlike the last "Dawn of the Dead", the dead in this flick are not track stars. There's plenty of gore and gunfire for everyone. And, last but not least, Dennis Hopper is never boring.

This is nothing more than a brain dead, pun intended, zombie movie with above average acting for films of this genre.

It's a little over 1.5 hours of mindless fun so what have you got to lose? I'm looking forward to Romero's next film, "Diary of the Dead".
