There's a giant forty foot crocodile in a peaceful Maine lake and it has to go!

Surprisingly, the graphics were very well done as were the characters/script.  This is part horror movie mixed in with a lot of comedy/one-liners.  Bettie White isn't on camera very often but is priceless when she is; some of the lines she spews will have you rolling on the floor.  They do manage to include a very eclectic group of characters that keeps the film from getting boring.

Some of the humor felt forced and is very much based on stereotypes.  The characters definitely do things I wouldn't if I was hunting for a giant crocodile; like get into a small two-man canoe to look for it.  And the final scene involving the helicopter was just a wee-bit over-the-top.

I went into this film expecting crap and was very much surprised.  It's smart and short with some good special effects.  Even though it is rated "R", it's not nearly as gross as it could have been and completely lacks nudity.  A horror film with no nudity; how weird.
