A peasant squire (Ledger) decides to take his master's place in a jousting tournament upon his death. His success launches his new career under a false name and title. He, his friends (Bettany, Addy, Tudyk) and his own personal armorer (Fraser) proceed to tour the countryside winning one tournament after another. Along the way he falls in love (Sossamon) and acquires a nemesis (Sewell).

Simply put, this is a fun movie. Any chance that this was going to be a serious movies is dashed once you get to the first scene that is accompanied by music. Speaking of music, there are songs by such artists as Queen, David Bowie, War, BTO and Thin Lizzy amongst others. Throw in a lot of humor and you have as much of a party as you do a film.

Much of this movie is predictable and the Nike swoosh (you'll find out what I'm talking about) was a bit much.
