Two couples on a cross-country trip to see and document the sites are taken captive by a very deranged family whose hobbies include, but are not limited to, torture, necrophilia, and murder.

This is one of the most unique horror films I've ever seen. You have a crazy clown, a family of sick and demented people, some gratuitous nudity and all of the blood and gore you could ask for.

I had to watch this more than once to appreciate it; this film is not for everyone. There really isn't much of a plot other than abduction and mayhem. Oh, lets not forget Sheri Moon's very annoying laugh.

This is Rob Zombie's first attempt at directing a horror film and fortunately it wasn't his last. If you're a fan of the genre you'll definitely want to check this out. Make sure to watch this before watching The Devil's Rejects for some background material.
