Plot |
Agent 47 is a professional hit man that works for "The Organization" that finds himself in a role reversal; he is the one being hunted after completing a job on a Russian politician. This movie is based on a video game that I've never actually played.

Pros |
You have to give them credit for making this a hard-hitting R-rated film as opposed to watering it down to get a PG-13 rating. The violence is only occasionally interrupted when the very lovely Olga Kurylenko is on the screen in various forms of dress. And unlike many other movies based on video games, this one not only has a plot but also wasn't done by Uwe Boll. |
Cons |
There's a sword fight that takes place on a train that I simply do not understand. Why swords? Maybe this was a game element that they wanted to incorporate into the film but it was a bit silly. |

Recommendation |
This is a no-brainer if you're a fan of action movies with lots of violence, a decent plot and a very lovely lady. Both Vin Diesel and Jason Stathom turned down the lead role and I'm glad they did; I like both of them as actors but this movie wouldn't have been the same. |
