Pros |
This is a great film for fans of the horror genre. The action starts early in the film and keeps your attention all the way to the end. There's plenty of blood and gruesome deaths but not so much that it's overboard (technically only 5 people die in the movie). For the guys, the two lead characters are quite lovely (check the extras to see what the lead looks like when she isn't in "character" mode). And, last but not least, I like the twist they put in the movie. |
Cons |
This is a French film that has been dubbed in English. Having said that, there are instances when they speak French and subtitles suddenly appear on your screen. This can be annoying since your eyes have to leave the center of the screen unexpectedly to glance down at the words. |

Recommendation |
When people think of horror films and their country of origin, France would not be a country that would be mentioned. But give them credit, when they do decide to add a film to the genre, they don't mess around. The storyline is tight and didn't go overboard with gore, nudity just for the sake of nudity or runtime. I suspect the movie was kept tight by a small budget. When this movie ends, you'll want to watch it all over again. Check out the extras, plenty of good stuff but much of it is in French. |
