Pros |
When you have an excellent script and actors that can pull it off flawlessly, you have a great film. Once you get past the first couple of scenes this movie reaches out and pulls you in (watching a 31 year old man picking up a 14 year old girl in opening scenes is a bit creepy to say the least). And I will be keeping my eyes open for any film that Ellen Page stars in; she was simply incredible. And lets not forget about the DVD cover; if it wasn't as eye catching as it is I might not have picked it up. |
Cons |
There's a scene with Sandra Oh concerning Girl Scout cookies and babysitting jobs that just didn't fit. But hey, you can't blame them for inserting a recognized name into their independent film. |

Recommendation |
If you like psychological thrillers this is a must have. This was filmed in 18.5 days for less than 1 million dollars. You know a movie is good when you want to watch it again immediately after it ends the first time. And Hollywood, there is a very talented actress from Canada, Ellen Page, that you need to keep busy in starring roles! |
