Plot |
A member of a gang in Japan has become a little unstable as the opening scene with the killer Chihuahua clearly displays. The boss of the gang orders his best friend to drive him to another city for disposal. From there the movie gets very weird.

Pros |
The one thing you can say about this movie is that it keeps your attention. You can't help but wonder what weird screwed up thing is going to happen next. And lets face it, the last scene is about as weird as it can get. The one upside is if you're fond of Japanese cinema they have some cameos in this movie you'll appreciate. |
Cons |
What the hell is going on? I have no idea what it was I just watched nor what it all means and I might be a little worried about people that do get it. I'm not sure what is the strangest; how one guy uses a ladle or the rebirthing scene? |

Recommendation |
This is one messed up film directed by Takashi Miike; even more messed up than normal. At least with " Ichi the Killer" and "Audition" you knew what was going on. Here, who knows. It's a mixture of mystery, occult and general insanity. |
