A number of people, both inmates and guards, are turning up dead at a local prison due to what appears to be suicides. Throw in a prison with a tainted past, a dirty & violent guard, a crazy inmate and a couple of lovely ladies and you have a mystery that will keep your attention.

I can't think off the top of my head of any other horror movies set in prison so you have to give it credit for originality. Some of the spooks you'll recognize from movies like "The Ring" but they will still make you jump from time-to-time. All-in-all the special effects are well done and, when I die, that is type of medical examiner I want working on me.

The acting and script were above what I would refer to as a "B" horror film but not by a large margin. The movie isn't very long so they didn't waste a whole lot of time on character development and I was a disappointed in the lack of gore and nudity. :-)

I never heard of this independent film until I saw it on the shelf in the horror section (my favorite section to browse through). After recognizing the names of three actors, all of whom I liked, listed on the cover I decided to give this movie a try. If you like horror/ghost movies without a ton of gore then give this a try; it's only 90 minutes long so you really don't have a lot to lose.
