Plot

Two criminals (Clooney in his first film and Tarantino) are heading to Mexico to evade the law. Along the way they wreak havoc and abduct a family consisting of a minister, who has lost his faith, and his two kids. Their destination is a bar called the Titty Twister; need I say more?

Pros

The first half of the movie is cleverly written and a lot of fun. Clooney plays a real bad ass and Tarantino is so good playing the psychotic brother that you have to wonder if he's really acting. Also included is the always funny Cheech Marin and the lovely Salma Hayek dancing on stage wearing a bikini and a snake. And guys, there are a lot of other lovely ladies wearing less. If you're jut looking for blood and gore, the last half of the movie will have that covered.

Cons

This is not the typical vampire movie and the clever script/dialogue gets thrown out the window around the one hour mark. The last half could be best described by AC/DC, "If You Want Blood, You Got It".

For some unknown reason the movie is on disc two as opposed to disc one; I suspect I am not the only person to find this out through trial and error.

Recommendation

This is one of the more entertaining vampire movies with a stronger cast than most films of this genre. Definitely take the time to watch "Full-Tilt Boogie" to see a behind-the-scenes feature that involves the crew, not just the stars.
