Plot |
A college researcher takes four other people to an abandoned Louisiana mansion/plantation. This has been the site of some gruesome crimes and legend has it that anyone that trespasses on the property will either go mad or simply never leave it alive. His companions include his brother (who knows his dark past), a friend and two lovely ladies that also happen to be lesbian girlfriends.

Pros |
How many other slasher/horror movies can you name that take place on an abandoned Louisiana plantation? Huh? The first 5-10 minutes showed promise, but that was completely lost in the next scene and is never recovered. But hey, the ladies are cute. |
Cons |
As is the case with many low-budget movies, to compensate for special effects everything is just filmed in the dark; you can't see anything. Come one, what is a slasher movie with people dying if you can’t see them? The dialogue came across as rushed and the lines were poorly delivered. And sorry guys, the cute girlfriends never make out or take their clothes off. |

Recommendation |
I picked this DVD up for $1.99 and basically got what I paid for; a low-budget B-rated horror film. Unless you're a horror junkie like me, I would seriously suggest you take a pass on this film. |
