Plot |
This movie picks up right where the original left off. Ashley (Campbell) is still at the cabin and things haven't slowed down a bit. He gains some "human visitors" while he rapidly loses his mind.
|
Pros |
It keeps all of the blood and gore of the original and they really let Campbell go with his role as Ashley. |
Cons |
Where the original was a horror/thriller, this is a comedy/thriller. Now if you have the same type of sense of humor that I do, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. And once you experience the ending, you know there's another film just around the corner. |

Recommendation |
If you have a strong stomach and a sense of humor, sit back and enjoy. If you're looking for a repeat of "The Evil Dead", look elsewhere. |
