Plot

After being fried to a crisp, the body of a vampire ends up in the local morgue where the medical examiners (Neal and London) recognize it for what it is. Before the vampire hunter/priest (Lee) arrives to finish the job, the body is originally removed to sell to an anonymous buyer (that happens to already know that it's there) and then ends up being used for experimentation. Even though this is a sequel to "Dracula 2000", it does not pick up where the original left off.

Pros

This isn't your average vampire movie. When was the last time you heard of a vampire being kidnapped first for money and then for experimentation in hopes to cure a friend's (Sheffer) debilitating disease?

Cons

If you're looking for an action filled vampire movie with a ton of gore and lots of naked women, look somewhere else.

Extras

  • Cast Auditions
  • Feature Commentary with Director Patrick Lussier, Screenwriter Joel Soisson and Special Makeup Effects Supervisor Gary Tunnicliffe
  • Four Deleted scenes (and rightfully so)
  • Theatrical Trailers

Recommendation

This is strictly for fans of the horror/vampire genre. If that's you, this is definitely worth checking out. And for a straight-to-video movie, this isn't bad at all!
