Plot |
The world, once again, is being overrun by zombies. A group of University of Pittsburgh students try to escape the flood of the undead, recording everything for the Internet as a documentary so people will really know what is going on; not the misinformation the government is spewing.

Pros |
This is a George A. Romero film, that alone should get people excited. The cast was well-rounded and definitely looked like they were enjoying what they were doing. Throw in some cool zombie deaths and you have 90+ minutes of fun. |
Cons |
Everything is filmed and told through the lens of a camera being operated by one of the students. Though I'm sure this made editing a lot easier, it also certainly limited the options they had for special effects and action scenes. |

Recommendation |
Even though I wasn't thrilled when I heard how this was going to be filmed (and I was anything but alone), it turned out much better than I was expecting. Everyone from the actors, special effects people to the gaffers obviously wanted to do their best for Mr Romero because of the respect they have for him (if you don't believe me, check out the extras). I would recommend this to everyone that likes zombie movies. |
