Plot

Witness the plots and schemes within the Chinese Imperial family inside the walls of the Forbidden City during the Tang Dynasty.

Pros

If you want to check out how well your TV handles colors, this is the movie to watch. This film is gorgeous. Along with the color there's a very strong story line intermixed with large-scale action and lots of cleavage. For those of you that do not care for subtitles, have no fear, it's dubbed in English.

Cons

There's not as much action and high-flying fights as there are in other current Chinese films like "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" if that's what you're looking for.

Extras

  • "Secrets Within": Making-of Featurette
  • Los Angeles Premiere

Recommendation

A beautiful film with a good storyline. If you have a good TV you will definitely want to check out this movie.
