An ex-con (Cage) and Army Ranger, after being jailed for defending his wife, has been paroled and is now on his way back home to Alabama. To get him there, the government places him on a plane full of hardened and dangerous criminals (Malkovich, Buscemi, Trejo, etc.). The rest is fairly easy to guess; criminals take over the plane, Cage helps save the day.

This movie has a great cast and an action-packed storyline.

The movie has its fair share of plot holes and where are the extras? If studios expect people to double-dip, the least they could have done was throw in some extras on this disc.

I’m really not sure where the 7 additional minutes were added, I’m guessing they simply extended a number of the scenes. If you already own the original DVD release, just say &quo;No" to this no frills re-release. In another 12 months they’ll probably come out with the Unrated Collector’s Edition that has all the extras that the first two releases didn’t. If you don’t own the original, this is definitely worth the time.
