Plot |
Rob is leaving the country and his friends get together to throw him a going away party. The party is interrupted by a giant "creature" and instead of trying to escape the city, Rob and a handful of his friends go deeper in the city to rescue his newfound love. We, the viewers, see everything through the camera held by one of Rob's friends who was put in charge to record the party.

Pros |
First and foremost they actually took the time to write an interesting story with interesting characters. You care about these people and want to see them survive and they did a good job of not making this movie last too long. This isn't just a silly monster destroys city flick. |
Cons |
If you suffer from motion sickness then you'll want to stay far away from this film. Personally, I do not care for the hand-held camera gimmick anymore. It's just distracting. And I won't even get started on the creature/creatures; they've all been done before and better. |

Recommendation |
This is a fun little action/horror movie for fans of those genres. I just don't like the camcorder gimmick that this and a number of other films have chosen to use. Only one ever got it right and that was "The Blair Witch Project". |
