Plot

Batman & Robin have to go against four of their most powerful villains; Catwoman, The Joker, The Riddler and The Penguin. These evil criminals have acquired a dehydrator that can turn people into dust. Will they be able to save Gotham City from this dangerous collaboration?

Pros

To start with a very positive statement, the picture is stunning and the sound isn't all that bad either considering the film's age. It's entertaining in a very campy way and what's even funnier is how seriously many of the actors, especially West, seem to take their roles. And no matter what, that was a cool bat mobile and Lee Meriwether is very easy on the eyes. True fans of this film will also enjoy the number of good extras that they included with this release.

Cons

There are lot of cringe-worthy lines and absolutely no special effects. If you weren't born in the '60s or earlier, don't confuse this with the Batman movies of recent history; they aren't even close.

Recommendation

If you were a fan of the original Batman TV Series you will get a kick out of this movie. If you hated the series then steer far away from this film. Invite some friends over for a few cold ones and watch a sporting event or another movie before putting this one in. It will be a lot more fun once everyone is "relaxed" and can make fun of what's happening on the screen and for a Blu-Ray release, the price isn't bad.
