This movie picks up where the original left off; Azumi and Nagara, the sole surviving assassins from the first movie, continue their quest to prevent war.

Like the original, this is a brain-dead action movie with some humor and quite a few lovely ladies. The fight scenes were done with fewer combatants and were shorter in length.

The dubbing for this film wasn't as good as its original but it wasn't too distracting. There are also a couple of dead spots that could have been trimmed.

If you liked the first one then this will be a treat. If you haven't seen Azumi, you'll want to watch it first; there are some flashbacks but they don't tell you the whole story of how they got where they are. I'm hoping they will continue with this franchise.
