Plot |
Ash (Campbell) finds himself in 1300 AD, just where he was dropped off at the end of "Evil Dead II: Dead By Dawn". To get back to his own time he is forced to retrieve the "Book of the Dead" from its resting place in a cemetery. In the process, he awakens an army of undead.

Pros |
Some cool special effects, especially the old-style skeletons, and a whole lot of very cheesy one-liners. |
Cons |
If you haven't figured it out by now, there is absolutely nothing serious about this film. The good news is they made no attempt to take themselves seriously. |

Recommendation |
It's a fun little 80 minute movie for those of you that like campy comedies. They left the door slightly open for another sequel but the word is that will never happen. I wouldn't bet on it with all the sequels that have come out the last few years. |
